inspiration: a seat at the table was a gift to us all. it was a project filled with an array of emotions + narratives that resonate with most, if not all, black people living in america. a seat at the table was therapeutic + affirming. it was a powerful + healing message that encourages us to be unapologetically black, beautiful + resilient. I illustrated this piece as a tribute to my favorite song on the album: Cranes In the Sky
